The benefits of donating to charity are twofold.

First, becoming active in your community and helping those less fortunate could be considered a personal gift to yourself. It soothes the heart, is what we like to say.

But there’s also a tax benefit. Both individual and corporate donations will be bestowed with a tax deduction by the IRS, so if you’re able, don’t think twice about taking this step.
