4. Panama City Beach, Florida

What do you think about living in a city where the fastest walk will take you to the beach? Just imagine that you wake up in the morning and there’s something that makes you get out of the house. You pour yourself and your partner a cup of coffee, then put on your walking shoes and take a stroll to the beach.

You hear the waves breaking, and the birds chirping, you see the sun shining, and the sand warming up your feet, and you know it’s going to be a good day. That sounds absolutely divine, and we, personally, would love to be on a sandy beach at the moment.

If you decide to move to the East Coast, don’t forget to take Panama City Beach into consideration, because every day is going to be like a holiday there. For instance, the rent for a 1-bedroom apartment will take no more than $1,200 out of your pocket, and the total monthly expenditures will be roughly $2,000.

The cost of groceries is a little bit higher compared to other East Coast cities mentioned on our list, but the weather is so good that you’re probably going to forget about it. Moreover, for food, drinks, and healthcare, you’ll have to pay approximately $900 a month, which is still less compared to other places in America, like Washington, DC, or Los Angeles.
