1. Public transportation

Living in one of the biggest states in the country surely has its perks, and public transportation is indeed one of them. Of course, that depends from one city to another, but generally speaking, the public transportation is quite top-notch there, so this is definitely a pro when it comes to retiring in New York.

This is amazing news for all the seniors that either don’t own cars or don’t like being stuck in traffic (since there are many cities where parking spaces are quite limited), and a bus or a subway is sometimes a must.
