6. Booming economy

Did you know that California’s GDP was estimated to be worth $3.1 trillion in 2019? This would rank it as the fifth-largest city on Earth. Nearly 764,000 employer companies and 19 million people make up the labor force.

The federal government defines a small firm as one with 500 or fewer employees, and more than 99 percent of those fall into this category. Additionally, according to figures made by the state, applications for new firms increased by 22.6 percent for the year ending in June 2023.

With these statistics, it would be a pity not to take into consideration moving to California. Although the best-paid jobs are those in the technology and movie industries, there are a lot of others that are good as well. Including the part-time ones if you’re thinking about getting one in retirement!

7. Abundance of culture

For many people, an important factor in their relocation process is access to culture. After you’ve spent a lot of time in your hometown, you’re probably familiar with every single tourist site around it, and now you’d want to explore something else.

Well, if that’s your case too, we have good news for you. The seventh reason you should relocate to California is the abundance of cultural life. From museums to theaters and quite a nightlife, California stands still on top of the best U.S. destinations.

Some of the best museums in the state are the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Art Museum and Botanical Gardens in San Marino near Pasadena, and the Irvine Museum.

There is a lot to choose from; which one is your favorite?

  1. California is way too woke for most Americans and quality of life has been worsening for years..beautiful weather and state but no one anymore wants to move there. Great to visit

  2. How about taxes, crime, gas prices, roads not kept up, real estate prices and radical liberal democrats running the state.
I’ve lived here70 years and it’s not as nice as it
    was.

  3. I live in California and have for a long time.
The article looks very familiar from a while ago.
Rent is very high owning a home 🏠 and the Water & Power bills keep going up and the cost of everything.
During the pandemic they shut down churches, restaurants businesses and the pandemic shut down mom and pop businesses.
They are saying the Pandemic is back
    it’s all about money.
I’m sure there are better places other than California.
Finally the Actors, Writers etc . Is starting to begin again in 2024.
Sad to say, nothing like it use to be.

  4. The California cons should be mentioned as well. Air pollution, high cost of living, state income tax, government restrictions, earthquake risk, very high wildfire risk followed by landslides and mudslides, for starters. It sounds like a promotion from California’s governor.
