Be A Mentor
If you’ve reached retirement age, you probably have a career’s worth of experience under your belt. Even though you might be out of the game, that doesn’t mean that your perspective is invaluable to someone who might be coming up through the ranks.
By developing a mentoring relationship with someone, it’ll keep you engaged with your old passion while, at the same time, giving you the chance to spend some time with the younger generation.
This is an amazing way to make new friends, and it will also give you a purpose in retirement.
