New York’s Atria West 86

If we are talking about the epitome of upscale living, then we do not have to look further than New York. It is not only one of the most expensive places to rent in the United States, but it is also one of the most extravagant cities we have here. And for the reason we have gathered here today, we will forget about the whole West versus East debacle that came up online.

You will not find more luxurious retirement communities than the luxe apartments in the Atria West 86, which are located on the Upper West Side, just one block away from Riverside Park. Talk about being extra close to Manhattan!

When we are talking about this retirement community, you need to know that you can only rent if you are one of the residents in one of these blocks of flats and that everything is included in the price you are going to pay per month.

The service includes all-day dining, so you can eat whenever you would like to, alongside table service, an obviously 24/7 doorman and concierge, full housekeeping, and even linen services, along with a lot of classes you can join. Some of them include yoga, writing workshops, fitness classes, pottery classes, and even art performances and guest speakers. Did we mention the group outings with your fellow retirees to the theater?

If you want to live in one of the most glamorous cities in the country and live like a king, then this one’s for you. Just keep in mind that rent starts at $8,100 per month and it can only go up. And New York is not the only place where Atria has retirement communities set up!

Yet, if you are looking for a place on the east coast that is not going to cost you your entire retirement fund for just one year, read about the most affordable places on the east coast!
