7. Warm temperature

If you’re one of those people who aren’t big fans of winter and overall temperatures that give you shivers down your spine, this is also one of your reasons to move to Texas.

You can retire in a state where the weather is warm, the sun is shining all day long (great for getting the right amount of vitamin D!), and the birds are chirping each morning.

However, don’t expect the weather to be perfect all the time because in the summer you might experience blistering heat and too much sunshine, so don’t forget to wear sunscreen, to stay hydrated, and to wear a hat to protect yourself from too much sun.

Other than that, you’ll see extreme weather conditions like in any other state, including blizzards, hail, droughts, and hurricanes. But they don’t happen that often, so don’t get scared!
