7. Fitness equipment
In the past few years, more and more seniors have started being more active and paying close attention to their well-being. And that’s amazing! However, most of the exercise equipment is pretty expensive, and a lot of us end up doing mostly bodyweight movements. If you want to upgrade or start a collection of fitness equipment, take a stroll in your neighborhood when it’s yard sale season.
A lot of the sports and fitness gear sold at yard sales was bought with the best of intentions but ended up gathering dust. If you’re interested in purchasing a bike, tennis racket, weights, or even barbells, you must know that a lot of the sellers are willing to lower the price if you buy multiple items.
However, I advise you to stay away from treadmills as much as possible. In most cases, they don’t have a warranty anymore, and if it’s going to break soon after the purchase, it will be a waste of money!
