California: Paso Robles

If you enjoy Californian weather but do not want to deal with how big and loud places like Los Angeles or San Francisco can get from time to time, why not give Paso Robles a try? This smaller city has about 31,000 residents and is located somewhere at the halfway mark between the previously mentioned big cities. It is a charming location that is walkable when it comes to its downtown, and you can find anything from entertainment establishments to galleries, breweries, casual and fine dining options, as well as shops coffee shops, and even wine-tasting rooms!

It would be more surprising for them not to have wine-tasting rooms, given the locations and the proximity the town has to some amazing wineries, where you can both take the time to visit the winery as well as take in the picturesque locations, gorgeous hill views, and even go ahead and explore the hills, where you will be able to find a lot of outdoor areas that are specifically designed for picnics!
