11. Admission to Museums
Want to visit a museum but want to avoid paying the admission fee? Like we’ve said several times until now, libraries might offer free passes to certain museums in your area. Barring that, you can probably visit museums for free on certain days.
What’s more, certain groups of people can visit for free too, such as active-duty military families in the summer! Retirees can also find many opportunities to visit museums without paying a penny!
By the way, did you know what your Bank of America may also get you in for free? It’s a perk that not a lot of people realize they offer.

Maybe you could check into “Get out and dine”. You have to apply for it but if you qualify, you get a card where you can dine out 5 times a month. They send you a brochure listing restaurants that accept the card. I love mine!

Good information, but I’m curious about one statement contained in the article. In item 24 titled Water, we find this sentence referring to reusing a water bottle – “Oh and you’ll not only save money by doing so, but you’ll be helping the planet out by keeping fewer plastic water bottles out of landfills.” If we keep fewer plastic bottles out of the landfill, that means there are more going into it. My question is, how are we helping the planet by infusing more plastic bottles into landfills?
It’s not the bottles in the land fill that’s the issue it’s the resources used to manufacturer, ship , retail, dispose of , truck to the land fill, equipment at land fill, and the fuel used by the equipment operator to get there!

Why in some states the internet, phone and tv are only $10.00 a month for seniors. Dental implants are not offered to us, claiming it is classified costemtic surgery?? yet several people have had chocking while eating?? We need to fight for the things we need. Hey, I have fought all my life cause I have never been married??? It isn’t fair at all. Nothing is being done for us enough. Were is the power of the senior and we can win for the items we want???

What about flooring for an apartment per Doctors orders but landlord refuse to pay to remove carpet for non leaking flooring which cost abut $8000. Is there a grant from the government? For 95 year olds & 65 year old handicapped seniors
