Want to Live on Social Security Alone? AVOID These 11 US Cities!

With all the beaches, parks, and tropical weather, there are so many reasons why Miami could seem like the ideal place to move. Even if there are definitely a lot of pros, we shouldn’t ignore the fact that the downsides are also pretty high, even if we’re talking about the most famous beach town. If you’re only living on your Social Security, there’s no chance for you in Miami.

Riverside, California

Riverside isn’t that far away from Los Angeles, even if it’s much closer to San Bernardino. You’ll find here well-known suburban attractions, like coffee shops and parks. Rent isn’t that bad, either, as the average is somewhere around $2,495; and the same can be said for Riverside’s cost of living: 134.1. Even so, this territory had terrible livability scores, with only 59 out of 100.
