Affordable Health Care Without Insurance: Here Are 8 Telemedicine Options

4. Teladoc

No. 4 on our list of affordable telemedicine services is Teladoc. Patients can book appointments for urgent and general care, as well as to see specialists, primary care doctors, and mental health experts.

If you don’t have insurance and you want to access Teladoc services, you’ll pay $75 per visit for general medical, $99 per visit for therapy, and $299 for psychiatry (for the first appointment; then, $119).

To begin with Teladoc, you need to set up your account and add some information there. Based on what you share, you’ll be informed which services you can utilize. Teladoc can also send prescriptions to your local pharmacy if needed.
