27. Save as Much as You Splurge
On the same topic as fun money, you can reward yourself two-fold by using this simple trick. Any money you spend on splurging should also be put into a savings account. That will make you think twice on buying expensive items, but if you really want them, you’ll at least be contributing to your future at the same time.
Have you just paid $100 for shoes? Add another $100 to your savings and so on and so forth. Can’t afford to do it? Then skip the splurge this month or find a cheaper alternative.
