Bosses who hog the limelight often focus on themselves when talking about success, but there are other ways that their behavior can affect the team- and you might not even be aware of it.
Try to find out if you haven’t been invited to any meetings where they may have used your ideas instead. First, you have to find out if this is happening behind your back by asking them if you could join them for the next meeting.
If the timing is right, promise them to finish your task or your report before the meeting starts, but try to avoid giving it to them early. That way you will have remained professional while also showing other members of the team and even other higher-ups what you are capable of.
