Your Boss Has Favorites
If your boss has favorites around the office, it can make others feel like they’re not a valuable member of the team. Oftentimes, other peoples’ skills will be congratulated while you (and others) may feel left out or overshadowed.
When this happens, it may be difficult to be the first one to speak up. Rest assured that you can improve the dynamics around the workforce without assigning blame. Make sure to congratulate everyone on their team effort and, hopefully, your boss will soon model their behavior around your actions. If they notice the team’s confidence boost, they might be inclined to do better than to pick favorites.
