Your Boss Has Mood Swings
Bosses who act more like yo-yos than mentors can negatively affect a team by stressing them out with their ever-changing moods. One moment they’re happy, but the smallest change can turn them into a raging bull.
If it’s possible, wait for them to be in a better mood before discussing important matters with them, but remember, this is just a temporary solution to a permanent problem. If you want to try and teach your boss to pace themselves, it’s best to offer rational thinking. Remind them that you have enough time or resources to get something done. Remind them that the team is always ready to tackle any responsibility.
By doing so you’ll show them that nothing will ever get done if they rage and then turn into a kitten the next second.
