4. Start new relationships

Life can be pretty nice even after you reach a certain age. And you can be a very social person too! Join senior communities in your neighborhood or get connected with people online. Either you’re looking for a friendship or, in case you’re single, a serious relationship after 60, now is the time to build stronger connections that will make you happy and healthy for the rest of your golden years. You deserve to be happy because you are an amazing person, which I know even though we haven’t met in person. I believe in you, and you should do it too!

Don’t be afraid to start branching out in new directions and pursuing new interests with like-minded folks. Make an effort to participate in at least one social engagement each day now that the majority of pandemic restrictions have been lifted. It’s true that some of us may feel a little “rusty” with other people if we’ve spent the most of our lives being too busy to appreciate each other’s company. But relax! Every time, it gets simpler.

Dare to be happy this year; you deserve it!
