Again, I can’t emphasize enough just how important it is to approach a financial advisor on how to make the most of your Social Security benefits. And if you think that finding a good one is hard, well, let me tell you that it’s not. There are many online tools that could help you match with other three vetted financial advisors who work in your area, and it won’t cost you anything to interview them and decide which one’s the best for you.
Also, I really want to add that Social Security isn’t the only bulletproof way to secure your retirement. You could also build your retirement funds by being consistent with your savings, whether we’re talking about a 401(k) plan or an Individual Retirement Account. If you already had that in mind, that’s great, but you might want to consider opening a taxable brokerage account online, as it will allow you to save even more toward your retirement.
