Virginia

The state of Virginia is just as senior-friendly as the previous states. US Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers indicate that Richmond, for example, has a comparatively low 4.2% unemployment rate and average 1.9% employment growth over the previous year.

The city’s most noteworthy occupational areas of development are professional and business services, with a 4% employment increase, trade, transportation, and utilities, which is up by 3.5%, and educational and health benefits, as well as leisure and hospitality.

Based on the latest BLS reports, both sectors are up by 2.7%. The state is also rich with history from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and Colonial period, offering plenty of travel opportunities to visit on days off.
