Little Rock, Arkansas
The next city with the highest crime rate on our list is Little Rock, Arkansas. This location is one of the busiest cities and the state capital. The local Police Department recognizes that violence rates have been rising in recent times.
It’s also very well-known for having a lot of gang brutality. Arkansas is a fairly small state with a population of roughly 3 million, but it seems to be considered the 4th most dangerous in our country.
Three hundred twenty-one homicides mean that it has a higher killing rate than some of the much more populated states, and it’s seen a 14.9% growth in violent incidents, 80% of which constitute aggravated assaults.
There are 939 documented incidents of violent crime per 100,000.
