Borrowing Too Much

If you’re in a pinch, there’s no shame in asking around for a bit of help, especially if you have every intention of paying back your friends or family. But be careful not to get carried away by sudden, large sums of money. If you suddenly feel the need to spend it on non-emergencies and fall into a deep rabbit hole, you might need to borrow more money again just to cover yourself.
This can turn into a never-ending downward spiral of financial mistakes. Inform your friend what you plan on doing with the money and stick to it. Even if it might feel embarrassing to disclose such financial troubles, it might give you enough resolve to refrain from straying.
