2. Socializing possibilities
If you’re a senior moving to a state across the border from home, you probably want to find some people to make friends with and spend some time with. What you’ll like about retiring in New York is the fact that the state offers you plenty of opportunities to socialize.
There are plenty of senior centers that you could check out and see if there are any people you could become friends with. They typically set up game nights or little activities for the people going there, so I’m pretty sure that you’ll have the time of your life.
So, would you consider retiring to New York and having a huge friend group? That sounds like fun.
