Florida Neighborhood: Naples

Population: 22,206
Crime Rate per 1,000 residents: 15.54
Cost Of Living Index: 111.9
Average Home Price: $566.1 K

This Florida neighborhood claims to be “the golf capital of the world” and one of the state’s best cities to retire. It’s next to the Gulf of Mexico in the southwest part of the Sunshine State and an hour away from Fort Myers.

Naples offers pristine beaches, beautiful sunsets, shopping centers, high-end boutiques along the streets, world-class golf courses, and one of the most sought-after retirement locations. Its historic downtown is also famous for Naples Pie with pleasant winter weather.

The Naples–Marco Island area was ranked number 1 in the 2017-18 Gallup-Healthways Well-Being index regarding financial security, health, community, and a sense of purpose. Aston Gardens at Pelican Marsh is a highly-recommended place in Naples for retirees.

NCH Healthcare System, Mayo Clinic, and a few other small hospitals take good care of the people and help them to recover from any illnesses they may have.

Your stats and comments don’t jive. The crime rate for Gainesville is about 1:25. That doesn’t sound safe at all! You say Edgewater is a bigger city (pop. 21,000+)than the others in the list. Gainesville has a population over 150,000, many times larger than Edgewater!? I can’t read anymore of this

How about availability of rental properties for about 6-8 weeks?
