4. Best Part-Time Jobs for Seniors: Driver
Becoming a driver is one of the best part-time jobs for seniors that you can find nowadays when it comes to the gig economy! Not only are there a lot of online apps that need delivery people, but they will also allow you to make your own schedule and work when you want, when you want, from wherever you may want!
The choice is all yours, be it that you want to sign up for some of the delivery apps around or start to drive people around for Uber or Lyft with your own vehicle, or if you want to go to a company and work as a part-time driver so they can give you a company car. The best thing about this side gig is that it pays decently and you will be paid for all the work you do if you sign up with a rideshare company or you do food deliveries, so the hours are truly flexible and you will know just how much you will be getting each week.
Are these not some of the most flexible part-time jobs for seniors?

Number 4 needs better research….”pays decently”? Been a Uber driver over 7 years, Uber drivers received 80% of what riders paid to Uber, since passage of Ca prop 22, in 85% of accepted rides, Uber has added insurance, even as they admit they are NOT an insurance company, broker or affiliated with any insurance company, priced from $1 as high as $10, taxes and other “miscellaneous” deductions from drivers that comes in some cases almost 47% for drivers…..pays decently? Hardly, even for retired seniors like myself
