1. Customer Service Representative

While this may not have been on your list of part-time jobs for seniors, hear us out. There are a lot of businesses that need a dedicated team and have started to allow their workers to work from home. This means that you can easily find a part-time job that is going to allow you to work from the comfort of your home while also getting paid for doing that. If you have previously worked with computers and you know your way around them, then all you need is the will to work: most places will provide you with a laptop and a headset to get you started.

You can end up helping people book their travels or appointments, handle returns, or answer queries about products; the world is your oyster, and you just need to find a company that is going to be a good fit for you. What’s more, since you are going to work part-time, you can take as many or as few hours as you feel comfortable working when you discuss this with your future employer.

Keep in mind that while you may consider this a job for college students, companies may appreciate a seasoned worker who already knows their way around customers!

Number 4 needs better research….”pays decently”? Been a Uber driver over 7 years, Uber drivers received 80% of what riders paid to Uber, since passage of Ca prop 22, in 85% of accepted rides, Uber has added insurance, even as they admit they are NOT an insurance company, broker or affiliated with any insurance company, priced from $1 as high as $10, taxes and other “miscellaneous” deductions from drivers that comes in some cases almost 47% for drivers…..pays decently? Hardly, even for retired seniors like myself
