4. Prepare yourself for the future and its ups and downs

Since you are in a new era of your life and all the changes happened at once, it’s normal to have times when you feel lonely or a little puzzled. Accept the fact that you have health problems and will need to spend a lot of money on your treatment, and start implementing your backup plan.

No matter what happens, have a positive outlook, and if you feel you aren’t listening enough, consider speaking with a psychologist. At any age, having people to vent to is important, but talking to a psychologist may be much more beneficial.

5. Exercise your mind

They say that being young is just a state of mind. Well, if you want to keep your mind young and fresh even after a certain age, it’s important to engage in various social activities, make more time to read or play games, or even do crosswords.

If you are into helping others learn, you can search for a volunteer position or part-time work where you might spend a few hours a week tutoring kids. Playing weekly card games or acquiring new talent, like playing a musical instrument or a foreign language, are two other methods to keep you focused and busy.
