If you changed your address

It’s highly important to update all your personal information, especially if you want to keep receiving your Social Security benefits on time. For instance, if you recently moved, remember to update the information in your account. If you fail to do that, it might lead to unwanted delays in your Social Security benefits.

If you updated your banking information

Usually, you should notify the Social Security Administration of any kind of change in your bank account, especially if you decide to change banks. If the Social Security Administration doesn’t get updates regarding these changes, it might become an issue when the administration tries to send you the benefits.

The same goes if you try to cash a check. That’s why avoiding these situations will guarantee that you receive your monthly benefits without any issues.
