Dental Lifeline Network: Free Care Through Donated Dental Services
The Dental Lifeline Network runs the flagship Donated Dental Services (DDS) program across all 50 states. It connects volunteer dentists and laboratories with seniors who have no other means of payment.
Since its founding, DDS has delivered over $500 million in donated care to more than 166,000 patients. Participating dentists perform comprehensive procedures directly in their private practices.
To qualify, you must be at least 65 years old, have a permanent disability, or suffer from a severe medical condition. You must also demonstrate that you cannot afford private dental treatment.
State coordinators review applications and match approved seniors with local volunteer clinicians. Because volunteers provide their labor, patients pay nothing for their approved treatment plans.
Demand remains high, which means many state branches maintain waitlists. Submitting your application as early as possible ensures you secure a spot in line.
