Samarkand

If you’re a beach lover, then Samarkand is the place for you. Here, you’d have access to beachfront amenities thanks to its location (between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains). Samarkand has one of the most jaw-dropping views of all retirement communities.

Besides, there are all kinds of amenities, such as wood shops, fitness centers, and even an outdoor pool. There’s also a thrift shop for thrift lovers, a cafe, and a spa. As for eating, residents can choose between fine dining and casual cafeterias.

The Residences

What’s really interesting about the residences is that there’s absolutely no age restriction, but this place was designed for wealthier retired folks. This community has four neighborhoods: The Gardens, The Village, The Hill, and The Fairways. For example, all the homes in Turner Hill cost around $1 million, but they have 4,542 square feet.

The Forum

The Forum in Park Lane, Dallas, Texas, is world-renowned for its celebrity chef, Brad Miller. This community offers both assisted living and independent living options for its senior residents. There’s also a long list of amenities here, such as a beauty salon, a barbershop, and a private dining room. Its residents enjoy happy hour every day, housekeeping, and linen service.

The Preserve

The Preserve has a luxury country club with an 18-hole golf course, but also a pool, a tennis court, a softball field, and a fitness center. If you love the fine arts, there’s also a performing arts theater and a creative arts center.

Their restaurant is one of the best-known in the area for its American cuisine. The architecture has a ranch-style approach, and each home has two or three bedrooms. Let’s say the least expensive ones sell for $500,900 and have two bedrooms and 2,395 square feet.
