7 Airport Tips That Make Traveling as a Senior a Breeze

We spoke about what happens at the airport when you arrive at your destination, but what about when you are leaving? Sometimes check-in can be hard and long when the line is huge, especially if you are retired and may need an assistive device. The good news is that you do not have to worry if you have a walking device.

Devices like crutches, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, and even electric scooters are going to be checked in when you board at no extra cost for most airlines, as long as you mention it when you book your ticket! The only prerogative is that if you are using a wheelchair or electric scooter, you should call to check in with the airline to make sure you will not be having any problems ahead of booking your ticket.
