Sometimes there’s only so much you can stretch your dollars, and when it doesn’t seem like switching jobs, getting a promotion or a bonus is on the horizon, it’s time to look for other ways to increase your wages.
Starting a side hustle may sound like it’ll take too much of your free time, but you can be smart about it. For example, you can start working for Uber and using their carpool option, you could select a route to and from work. That way you’ll get passengers that are going in roughly the same direction as you are, so you don’t have to go out of your way.
