Texas: Fredericksburg
The town is not that big, with a population of around 11,300, which makes it a very safe community with very low crime rates. They also host the Hill Country Memorial Hospital, so you will not have to worry about finding a healthcare provider.
And the city will not leave you bored, as they are also a tourist attraction, so they have a lot of historical landmarks as well as an active entertainment scene with hotels, restaurants, hotels, and other entertainment hubs. You can also easily reach Austin and San Antonio if you wish to travel, as both are just around 70 miles away!
Just make sure before you relocate to this small town that weather changes are not bothering you. They do have seasonal changes, with dry and hot summers and definite cold winters.
