Fredericksburg gets its name from the German immigrants who came to the United States in 1846 and founded this city. Since then, the town has kept its name and a distinct heritage that can be seen in everything from its architecture to its food to its culture.

And while for some it may be a small detail, the stargazing population here is flourishing as the city has the status of a Dark Sky Community, which means they are doing their best to minimize light pollution and you will be able to admire the night sky and all the stars!
