Despite its reputation as one of the most unrestricted and picturesque states in the country, Alaska does not come without a cost. Hooper Bay, for example, is one of the worst states for jobs in the US due to its high cost of living, 6.80% unemployment rate, and appalling job growth of -0.17%.
