If you need extra money to make sure that you have a comfortable retirement, getting a side job as a cleaner isn’t going to help you that much. According to research, the average wage per hour for a cleaner in the United States is somewhere between $15 and $50 per hour.

Yes, I know that $50 per hour is pretty good money, but if you take a step back and think about it, is it actually worth it? You have to bend, squat, clean, and pay attention to every single detail to earn that money, and you’ll probably come home tired and cranky from all that hard work. Is that what retirement was made for?
