You’re probably wondering: how much money is a telemarketer paid? The answer is simple: not a lot, less than $20 per hour, and the effort that goes into this side job is rather large. You probably know that telemarketers get paid for making cold calls to people in order to sell different services and products.
Some people consider this a thing of the past, especially since online shopping is so popular and convenient, but telemarketers still exist. However, this doesn’t mean that is going to be a fantastic side job for a retiree, because a lot of people are sick of receiving calls, get angry, and hang up immediately.
Having to face this kind of behavior each day isn’t exactly easy and fun. The more clients you bring, the higher the pay is, but as we’ve previously said, it’s quite hard to convince people that they need the products or services you tell them about.
