Fort Myers, Florida

Well, what did I say? Florida IS the best (and trust me, this is NOT the last location in Florida that you’ll see in this article). Another great Florida city where you will find the needed security and affordability is Fort Myers, where you will find those wonderful white sand beaches you’ve seen in the pictures.

If you want to retire comfortably and have zero worries for the rest of your life in this city, you could easily live with $773,837 set aside. Here, the yearly cost of living in Fort Myers is around $50,524.

Melbourne, Florida

Another great city in Florida that you can safely call home in Melbourne. Also known as The Harbor City, Melbourne has a ton of attractive beaches, and places that you can visit for entertainment purposes.

You can go fishing, and even take some golf courses. The city is simply amazing, it’s extremely relaxing to live there, and on top of that, it is also very safe. The annual cost of living is $49,221, out of which housing costs are around $9,868.
