Daytona Beach, Florida

Daytona Beach is famously known as the World Center of Racing, so if you really like fast cars, then that’s the place for you. Daytona Beach has many other interesting things that you might be interested in, such as long, wonderful beaches, but also many hiking trails, golf, and fishing.

Although many tourists come here every year, it’s a very safe place to live. Also, the cost of living here is around $45,206, out of which $6,928 are just the housing costs.

Brookings, South Dakota

If you’re not very fond of Florida, no problem, you could always consider Brookings, South Dakota. The city is well known mostly because this is where you will find South Dakota State University. There are plenty of family-friendly events you can attend when your grandkids visit you.

If you consider moving here, you need to save around $605,682. But it will be worth every penny, as it’s one of the safest places in the U.S.A.
