1. Old shoes

How many pairs of shoes do you have in your closet? I know, I know, you sure need a couple of pairs, but if there are any old and boring ones that you haven’t worn in a couple of years, do you think they’re going to make a comeback in your new life? Surely not!

I’m a strong believer that once we grow older, we become wiser, which means that new retirees probably like different things and want to take care of themselves. So why not invest in a new pair of shoes that make you feel excited about the new chapter in your life?

However, don’t throw your old pairs into the trash because you can make the most out of them. You can donate them to charity, give them to a friend or family member, or list them on Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, or any other online platform so you can make some cash.
