2. Beach Retirement Lifestyle
This is not a retirement lifestyle unknown to many of us! After all, a great number of the retirement population is located in a beach town and a lot of us who are on the verge of retiring dream of owning a small beach home and being able to walk on the sand whenever we want!
If the beach has always called to you, why not make it your retirement lifestyle and relocate to a quaint beach town? You can wake up to the sound of waves and always be close to the ocean for a swim or even for water activities if you enjoy them! Not to mention, your grandkids will be ecstatic to come to visit you during the summer, as they will love to play in the sand with you!
It may not be the most money-conscious decision to move to Hawaii or to a Pacific Ocean retreat in sunny California, but there are a lot of underrated and amazing beach towns in the United States that you are going to love. Just make sure you do your research beforehand! And keep in mind that you can also relocate close to a river, bay, or lake if you want to be close to the water but do not want to face the sweltering heat.
