PRO: It can alleviate boredom!

Let’s be frank for a moment here. While we have all gotten used to working over the years, and some of us cannot wait to retire so we do not have to go to the office every day, a part of us is going to miss working. It is not that we love our job that much, but rather that we got into a routine and had something to do. When we retire, it is going to be great because we have a lot of free time to do whatever we want, but after a little bit, we can fall prey to boredom.

This is why working in retirement is a great option for those of us who have a drive that pushes us to be active and who do not like to not have something to do. While you can pick up various hobbies, continuing to stay in the workforce can have a lot of benefits. No one says you have to keep working full-time, but in order to avoid boredom, it would be a great idea to at least consider working part-time.
