As one of the largest pharmacy store chains in the US, Walgreens offers numerous discounts and savings to seniors. In fact, as of 2023, Walgreens provides a monthly senior discount to those ages 55 and up. This discount can be redeemed on the first Tuesday of every month.
But that’s not all! If you’re an AARP member, you can save even more cash by linking your membership to your myWalgreen’s account. This will give you between 3% and 10% in cash rewards on eligible products.
Marcus Theaters
The average movie ticket price is between $9 and $10. However, the Marcus Theatre chain offers the Marcus Theaters Young at Heart promo, also known as the Senior Matinee Special, through which you can enjoy $6 admission to certain shows. The discount is only available on Fridays after 5:30 p.m. The only requirement is to be 60 or older.
You can also order tickets at discounted prices online. Other theaters may also discount tickets for seniors.
