Eating out may seem like a luxury thing to do these days with inflation spiking. But treating yourself with a nice meal from time to time is something we all deserve. If you have an AARP membership, you can get a 15% discount on your check each time you eat at a participating Denny’s location.
The deal applies to pick-up orders too. Just mention your AARP membership number over the phone, and that’s it! You may even be able to save more, as the restaurant chain also provides a discounted menu for seniors 55 and up.
IHOP
Here’s another restaurant chain that provides a discounted menu for those 55 and older. The amount you can save varies based on what you order. For instance, on the regular menu, you’ll see that the Breakfast Sampler is $11.30, but if you ask for the 55-plus menu, you’ll see it’s about $3 cheaper, or more precisely, $8.29.
Granted, the portions on the discounted menu aren’t as large as those on the standard menu, but if you aren’t counting on taking home leftovers and don’t have a huge appetite, it’s a pretty good deal.
