If you live in Alabama then get ready to go back to school shopping between July 17th and July 19th.

The holiday exempts books that cost less than $30, school supplies that cost $50 or less, per item. You might need a new computer, and don’t forget about a computer software! As long as they’re less than $750, you’ll get to skip out on sales taxes. We all know how quickly kids can go through clothes, so take this opportunity to get items for less than $100 on this holiday.

Between February 26th and 28th 2021, it’s time for Severe Weather Preparedness. Residents will have the advantage of buying certain severe weather preparedness items free of state sales tax, though local sales tax may apply. Think tarps, batteries, chargers, duct tape, plywood, light sources and so much more!
