Between August 9th and August 15th, you can do all the back to school shopping you want in Maryland without worrying about taxes. Of course, there are some limitations and exceptions. As always, clothes and footwear that cost $100 are included in this holiday. In terms of backpacks and bookbag sales, only the first $40 you spend will be tax-free.
They also host an Annual Energy Star Holiday during which you can find sales on Energy Star products such as furnaces, air conditioners, dryers, washers, refrigerators, solar water heaters, compact fluorescent light bulbs, and more!
