Don’t just focus on why you should receive a raise now- in fact, don’t even start with that. Begin by talking about why you love working for the company, maybe even mention your favorite project or something you’ve worked on that has given you great pride.

All managers value loyalty and they should know by now that you’re an important asset. Knowing that you won’t leave their side any time soon will incentivize them to pay you more. In turn, this should incentivize you to not look for opportunities elsewhere.

Talk about the future and your plans on helping the company evolve. You could even leverage a new project for a raise, just make sure it’s something the company needs and would benefit from. You’ll need to do extra homework for this, but it’s a great approach if you already have a couple of good ideas.
