Your Boss Can Never Admit to Being Wrong

This one most likely goes hand in hand with the previous one- lying. If your boss is unable to own up to their mistakes then it fosters a lack of innovation in the workplace.
Why? Because it’s been found that 91% of employees appreciate it when their bosses admit to making mistakes, proving that their workspace is a safe environment to take smart risks. Without this, employees might feel trapped.
If their own boss can’t do it, why should they? So they don’t try to make any improvements, sticking to the same old, tried and tested routine. Once a leader shows they are capable of going out of their comfort zone, so will everyone else in the workspace.
It might not be easy to get your boss to openly speak about this issue, but it may be worth a try if you outline what we’ve just said. As always, do it in a professional manner and try to avoid directly assigning blame. Remember, you want them to see the error in of their ways.
