Your Boss Lies Constantly
Some bosses lie occasionally in order to cover mistakes or to protect their (mostly fragile) egos. Others do it so often that it doesn’t seem that they can distinguish between the truth or lies anymore. Whichever the case, neither of these things is good for a working relationship.
If you can’t trust the person at the head of the operations then how are you supposed to do a good job? When lies are involved, there are hardly any chances to develop a good and productive relationship.
If you decide to bring this up in a professional discussion, first make sure you have all the facts. When is your boss lying and why? Only with this evidence and motivations in hand can you question an authoritative figure. Be candid, calm, and honest if you want to be treated with the same level of respect.
